Recordings in the works:

Working on tunes and arrangements with several groups to record this Winter. I’m lucky to be asked to participate in these recordings which will showcase some great musicians and top shelf writing.

Dave Haskell (w/ Jimmy Haslip, Russell Ferrante and Robben Ford)-I’ve been working with Dave and his tight fusion-funk tunes off and on for the  2 years and we’re about to record a 12 song cd with a cast of great local and world renowned musicians, including the Yellowjackets crew mentioned above, as well as local hot shots Aaron Germaine and Dan Zemelman.

Fiveplay Jazz Quintet-This local melodic original jazz quintet is going in to do our 3rd album as a group…this time with some added guests.

Nina Ott Trio- Nina is a recent transplant from the east coast who is both a hotshot writer and player. We’re working on her funky Latin-Jazz inspired odd time excursions which we expect to record in early 2012.
